Transliteration, release, alphabet, and collation are different things
A transliteration is a continuing body of readings by a transcriber or project (for example ZL or GC). A release is a dated version of it (ZL 3b). An alphabet is the notation used to write the readings down (EVA, v101, STA1). A collation is the order in which manuscript leaves are arranged (bound folio order or singulion order). The Depot keeps these properties separate so that you always know exactly which file you are using.
